Between now and when i write the full review, i have a very simple piece of advice for anyone reading this.

Call Carotech Auto, ask Gary when you can drop off your car and then trust him and his expert team to fix your car properly, for an extremely fair price and with the best warranty I've encountered from any auto mechanic shop in my life.

Do not bother wasting time reading other reviews. This place is absolutely without compare the best auto repair shop in LA.

For those who may be wondering, I found Carotech through a Google search and spoke to Gary for the first time about 72 hours ago. He suggested i drop my car off Wednesday. I just picked it up today (Thursday 11/9/2023) and the work done on it was exceptional in all respects.

I'll never go to another auto mechanic as long as i remain in Los Angeles.

But to be clear, prior to 3 days ago, i knew nothing about Gary or his shop. And my car had been neglected for the past 6+ years. It was also filthy and the engine compartment was an embarrassment to even see.

Having had two Jaguars when Jaguar was a synonym for unreliability and demanded frequent visits to dealerships for servicing and repairs - always too expensive - and further visits to assorted shops which were not always capable , and then having a wonderful Lexus and Mercedes and again being at the mercy of too expensive and sometimes untrustworty dealerships, I finally reached out to AAA for their recommendation for service ansd was fortunate and ultimnately thrilled to be sent to CAROTECH. Gary was straightforward, scrupulously honest about what needed to be done and why, and sent me excellent vosuals to show me exactlty what was going on and what was needed. Ans he delivered brilliantly and was able to save me money by repairing a defective seat motor instead of ordering a costly new one. Having been screwed over too often for too many years just for trying to keepo our cars in safe running shape CAROTCH WAS IN THE MIRACLE CLASS . I recommend Gary and his shop with absolute certainty that they will treat you and your vehicle superbly well, and give you the absolutely best deal possible. Please, quote me .
