Darnell is so nice and passionate. Nate is as well and curious and a great eye. The two of them took to my weird old van so well! I accidentally released my coolant line which was all rusty and needing a full replacement. They were so quick to engineer a clever solution of replacement hoses. They saw me right at the end of the day and managed to squeeze in the hose job the next day before the weekend and did it so fast the price was a huge relief on what would have been a big job for less ingenious mechanics

Couldn’t be more impressed with Braden and his shop. My newer car had issues on Monarch Pass and we limped into town with an engine fault code. Even though he had a full schedule they managed to fit it in and get me rolling! I am so thankful for their kindness and honesty.

I contacted Gunnison Auto & Performance regarding service work on my jeep. My experience with Braden and his team went very well. After they diagnosed the issue they ordered the parts and worked overtime hours to complete the work. I would highly recommend them for their great service, honest, and credibility!

We were traveling across the country and were in a bind, broken down on a Friday afternoon. The guys at Gunnison Performance were so incredibly kind and gracious and stayed late on a Friday, and got us all fixed up on Saturday morning. I can’t explain the amount of gratitude I have for them. They did a great job and helped me get my family back on the road. I was fortunate to find such good people and I highly recommend them.

Well, you just can't find a better mechanic shop. Bryson was very helpful and knowledgeable. Diagnosed my car problem and got me on my way as fast as he could. Super friendly with great vibes. Wish I could come back with every car issue but I travel for work. A+ recommendation

We're on an RV trip across country, post-pandemic, and the RV is not near our local mechanic. So when we stayed at a nearby campground, one of my "neighbors" mentioned the brake noise he was hearing and said it sounded serious. I had just started to hear something, and it was metal-on-metal, so we knew something needed to be done soon.

We stopped in Gunnison, CO and asked the lady at the visitor center if she had any ideas, and she mentioned two places, one of which was Gunnison Tire and Auto, this companies old name. So I checked reviews and they were amazing, and I called around 11:30. Brian (the owner) answered the phone and I explained the situation; he said he might be able to squeeze us in and to bring it by.

Brian took a quick look and made up an estimate (which seemed *very* reasonable) and said they could get it done today! So we gave him the go-ahead, and enjoyed the afternoon shopping and dining and getting a haircut in the great little town of Gunnison, CO.

Sure enough at about 4:30 we got the call it was done, and everything was perfect. Lisa was also a great help and enjoyable to work with. Jordan did the brake work and we gave it a good test later that day, as we crested Monarch Pass at 11,312' and the brakes worked perfectly all the way down (along with the transmission, of course).

We are indebted to Brian and his team for taking such good care of us with same-day service, so professionally, so friendly, and with such reasonably-priced work. Thank you Brian, Jordan, and Lisa for all of your assistance and kindness! Gunnison Auto & Performance is definitely an all around, top-notch business.
